Cultural Inclusion and Diversity in Education
MAKE strives for all local cultural education to be accessible and inclusive. With a proud heritage of a city built to be accessible for wheelchair users and nearly 50% of school goers in Milton Keynes being from a minority ethnic background, the city’s diversity is integral to its identity. Please find some resources for inclusivity in the classroom below.

Many of MAKE’s projects have included young people with disabilities and additional needs. These resources aim to enable teachers to design cultural activity that nurture and develop different skills and ability.

ATG Entertainment’s (ATGE) Work in Theatre Careers Toolkit:

You’ll need to create an account and the password is letmein . Aimed at Secondary school teachers, the toolkit can be used to create full lessons or as 10-15 minutes insights to support existing lesson plans.

Creativity
Creativity is one of the top skills employers look for. Developing creativity through arts practices empowers young people with a transferable skill. Everyone is creative. These resources help teachers to bring creativity out in their students.
